Chargeback Policy

Last updated: May 14, 2026

This Chargeback Policy explains how DeenSeed ("DeenSeed," "we," "us") approaches payment disputes filed with banks or card networks ("chargebacks"). It supplements our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

1. Contact us before disputing a charge

If you do not recognize a charge or believe there is an error, please email contact@deenseed.com before initiating a chargeback. Many issues billing dates, duplicate charges, cancellation timing, or access problems can be resolved quickly without a dispute. Our Refund Policy describes when refunds may be available.

2. What is a chargeback?

A chargeback is a reversal of a card payment initiated by your bank or card network, often after you report a problem. Chargebacks are governed by network rules (for example Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover) and your issuer's policies. They are not the same as a refund processed directly by DeenSeed.

3. Our response to chargebacks

When we receive a chargeback notice, we may:

  • Review account and delivery records (for example enrollment, lesson attendance, or communications);
  • Submit evidence to the card network as permitted by applicable rules;
  • Pause or restrict access to Paid Services associated with the disputed payment until the dispute is resolved; and
  • Close duplicate or conflicting refund requests related to the same transaction.

If a chargeback is resolved in our favor, the charge may be re-applied or collection may proceed as permitted by law and our agreements with you. If the chargeback is resolved in your favor, we accept the outcome under network rules.

4. Friendly fraud and misuse

Filing a chargeback for goods or services you received in good faith, or to avoid a valid obligation, may violate card network rules and our Terms. We take misuse seriously and may restrict future purchases, close accounts, or pursue legal remedies where permitted.

5. Subscription renewals

If you agreed to recurring billing, charges on the renewal date are generally valid unless you canceled before the deadline stated at signup or in your account. Disputing a renewal without canceling in time may not result in a reversal under network rules.

6. No waiver

Our willingness to discuss a dispute does not waive our rights under the Terms, this policy, or applicable law.

7. Changes

We may update this Chargeback Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
