Prophet Adam (AS) — Islamic lessons from DeenSeed
When you make a mistake

Prophet

Adam (AS)

The first human taught us that falling is not the end — turning back to Allah is how a story continues with mercy.

Every one of us knows what it feels like to slip. The story of Adam (AS) begins with honour, includes a mistake, and ends with a door that never closes: repentance.

Created with Honour

Allah created Adam with His own hands, taught him names, and commanded the angels to prostrate in honour of this creation. Human beings were not made as a mistake — we were made with dignity and purpose.

The Slip and the Return

Adam and Hawwa were whispered to by Shaytan and ate from the tree. They did not justify the sin. They admitted it and asked for forgiveness — and Allah accepted.

"Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers."(Quran 7:23)

The Lesson

Shame that pushes you away from Allah is from Shaytan. Shame that brings you to istighfar is a gift. Teach your children — and yourself — that returning is always possible.
